WYVETTA SIMPSON

Wyvetta Simpson, 73, of Panama City, died Saturday, November 4, 2006 in a local hospital. She was born August 23, 1933 in Panama City and had been a lifelong resident. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh & Gladys Mae Simpson, and a brother, Hugh Simpson Jr. She is survived by a sister, Carolyn Simpson Wells and husband, Rev. William E. (Bill) Wells, aunt, Mrs. Willie Fay Pippin and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hilton Foster and Rev. Tim Moffett officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. Those desiring may make a contribution to the Immanuel Baptist Church in memory of Wyvetta Simpson.
