WOODROW WILSON MASHBURN
Woodrow Wilson Mashburn, 87, of Panama City, died Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at his residence. He was born on March 22, 1919 and had been a lifelong resident of Panama City. He was a 1938 graduate of Bay High School and served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a member of First Baptist Church where he attended Willie Carters Sunday School Class and ACME Masonic Lodge. Mr. Mashburn was preceded in death by his parents, Josh B. and Tempie H. Mashburn and his sister, Evelyn Mashburn Humphreys. He is survived by his 3 closest cousins, Rheba Crowe, Yvonne Colvin and Dot Sayles. The family wishes to thank his caregiver, Tammy Graham. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clyde Ellison officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the First Baptist Church Building Fund in memory of Woodrow Mashburn.
