WINNIE GUNTER NOLEN
1931-2009
Winnie Faye Gunter Nolen, 78, of Panama City, Florida passed away February 14, 2009 in a local nursing home.
She was born May 5, 1931 to Harvey and Careen Gunter in Andalusia, Alabama. She was raised in Hiland Park and graduated from Bay High School in 1949. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Panama City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David T. Nolen; and brother, Raymond Gunter.
She is survived by two children, Marc Nolen and wife Tina and Kim Nolen Minter and husband Eric; one grandchild, Ashley N. Minter; sister-in-law, Jean Gunter; brother-in-law, Mike Wilsdorf and wife Debbie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held, Tuesday February 17, 2009 at 10 a.m., in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.
The family would like to express great appreciation to the staff of St. Andrews Health and Rehabilitation and to the staff of Covenant Hospice.
