Winifred Parker Davis, 98, of Parker, Florida, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016 in her home.  She was born February 18, 1918 in Parker to Peter Ferdnand Parker and Martha Baldwin Parker.  She was a member of the Jehovah Witness Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Floyd Davis; son, Wendell Davis; sister, Mary Francis Lee; brother, Mitchell Parker and a great grandson, Tony Davis.  She is survived by a son, Rodney Davis (Sylvia); 2 granddaughters, Sue Broxson (Tony); Laurie Swenningsen; 3 grandsons, Mark Davis (Develyn); William Davis; Robert Mitchell "Mitch" Davis (Denise); sister, Jean Weidner (Richard) and 8 great grandchildren.  Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 3 p.m. in the Parker Cemetery with Eastern Star rites conducted at the service.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to Covenant Hospice, 107 W. 19 ^th St., Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Winifred Davis. The family would like to thank the nurses at Covenant Hospice and for the unwavering support and comfort provided to her by her caregivers, her companions and FRIENDS Evelyn Stansel and Jan Lossiter.
