Wilma "Willie" Louise Haas

Wilma "Willie" Lousie Haas was born on February 23, 1933, in Redding, Pennsylvania, and died on February 14, 2008 in a local hospital. Mrs. Haas is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Norman Haas; her dedicated daughter, Julie Helfert of Marianna, Florida; her resilient son, Michael P. Haas (Nancy), of Ann Arbor, Michigan; her precious grandchildren, Kali and Kyle Hix and Kaleb Ackerman, Keri Culhane (Tom), Kevin Haas, Justine Wakeman, and her great granddaughter, McKenna Culhane.

Mrs. Haas is also survived by her sister-in-law, Millie Dussault and husband, Bob, her brothers, Ralph Yost and Ronald Yost, her sister, Sandy Dennis; and her former son-in-law, Kenneth Helfert. She also leaves many dear friends and neighbors in Panama City and Marianna, Florida and in Ohio, Michigan and Indiana. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Margaret and Ralph Yost, and a brother, Robert Yost.

Mrs. Haas and her husband, Norman, are part owners of Mr. Bingo in Marianna and Panama City. Wilma believed in giving to those in need, and in her memory please make a donation to the Family Service Agency, 114 East 9th Street, Panama City, FL 32401. Wilma's wishes were for us to remember her quietly in our own way in lieu of a service. She was a seeker of inner peace and enlightenment, and we believe she has found it thru her passing.
