In Loving Memory of William "Bill" Sexton Gorman December 19, 1939 – July 24, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William "Bill" Sexton Gorman, who left us on July 24, 2023. He was 83 years old. Bill was born in Hartford, AL on December 19, 1939, but spent most of his life in Panama City, FL. He was well-known within the community as a successful businessman. He owned and operated the Ashley Gorman Shell Island Cruise, as well as several other tourism boats, charter boats and commercial finishing boats over the years. He is survived by his loving daughter, Ashley Gorman, and his niece Courtney Gorman, both of Panama City, FL. He is preceded in death by his brother, John Gorman, and his mother, Hilda Gorman.

Bill was a wonderful father and friend to all, and will leave an incredible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be remembered for his warm smile, generous heart, and the unwavering love and admiration he had for his daughter, Ashley. A service to celebrate Bill's life will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 4pm-9pm at Hotel Indigo of the Panama City Marina, at 7 Harrison Ave. Panama City, FL 32401. Friends and family are invited to join us to pay their respects and remember the beautiful life Bill lived.

Bill's light may have dimmed, but his memory will forever shine in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
