William Thomas Rountree, 83, of Panama City, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023.  He was born July 25, 1939 in Dozier, Alabama.  He was a local building contractor before retiring with the Bay County School System. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Rountree and a brother, J.W. Rountree. He is survived by his two sons, Keith Rountree (Dawn) and Keith's stepson, David Todd (Meagan), David Rountree (June); grandson, Kyle Rountree (Courtney), great grandchild, Harper Rountree; two sisters, Martha Jo Sasser and Lanelle Carter. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 12 noon in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 12 noon prior to the service.  Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to the First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1200, Panama City, FL 32402 in memory of William Rountree. Active pallbearers will be Kyle Rountree, David Todd, Dan Daly, Joe Bailey, Bill Littlejohn and Don Henby.
