RALPH NEWBERRY JR.

William Ralph Newberry, Jr., 72, of Panama City, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2009 in his home. He was born September 18, 1936 in Panama City. He was a 1954 graduate of Bay High School and served in the U.S. Air Force. He attended Immanuel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Lucille Newberry and step son, Christopher Gailfoil. He is survived by his wife, Molly Newberry; son, Chad William Newberry; two daughters, Karrie Garrett and husband, Bob, Leighanne Vasquez and husband, Javier; two grandchildren, Taylor Garrett, Mackenzie Garrett; four sisters, Judy Cleghorn, Janice Williams, Elaine Lawrence and husband, Charles, Diane Newberry; mother-in-law, Sadako Barrett; step son, Michael Gailfoil and family; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6 – 8 p.m. The family will be at the home of 1544 Mulberry Avenue, Panama City, FL
