WILLIAM J. GRAY
William J. Gray, 70, of Panama City Beach, passed away peacefully at his home on September 4th. He was originally from Bessemer, Alabama and moved to Panama City Beach as a teenager to work in the family motel business. He served his community as a P.C.B. city council member from 1978-1982 and was a respected member of the beach business community. He is preceded in death by his father (Barney C. Gray), mother (Mildred Gray), brother (Milton Gray), and longtime friend (Jeanene Flowers). He is survived by his son William Jason Gray (Beverly), 2 grandsons (Cade and Brady) all Ocala, Florida, a daughter Jennifer K. Gray of St. Petersburg, Florida, and several nieces and nephews. He was an active member in good standing of Scottish Rite of Free Masonry, S.J., and Shaddai Temple Pythagoras Lodge 358.
A celebration of his life will be held in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, September 8 at 10:30 a.m. with Masonic Rights.
