William Jesse Cook Jr., 77, of Panama City, FL passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021. He was born on December 20, 1943 in Panama City. He was a 1961 graduate of Bay High School. He was a proud member of the Panama City Scottish Rites, Panama City York Rites, a Charter Member of the Shaddai Shriners, a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans and the Pythagoras Masonic Lodge No. 358. He loved his family, his community. He loved the Classic Cars, especially 1957 Ford and the Boy Scouts Troop #323. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Jesse Cook Sr and Louise Hobbs Cook. He is survived by his wife, Patricia "Pat" Stokes Cook; two sons, John William Cook (Catherine Elaine), Richard Wesley Cook (Kamali S.); one grandson, Alexander Wesley Cook (Alexis); one sister, Elizabeth "Beth" Jane Cook-Adair (Larry Lee). Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 11 am in the Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Wilson Funeral Home from 3-5 pm on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Shaddai Temple in memory of Bill Cook. Due to the current pandemic situation, those who wish to attend the visitation and graveside service are respectfully requested to wear a mask for the protection of the family and other guests.
