William Thomas Brown, 29, of Panama City, Florida, passed away on July 21, 2024. Born in Panama City on June 7, 1995, he was a cherished son, father, and friend known for his dedication and love for others.
Will attended Holy Nativity and Bay Haven Charter Academy, followed by Rutherford High School where he graduated in 2013. He furthered his education at Gulf Coast Community College and Haney Technical Center, equipping himself with the skills that would fuel his career ambitions. Will was employed at Bob's Top Shop and Gorman Marine, and at the time of his passing, he was passionately working towards starting his own business at the beach.
Will's life was a testament to his love for the outdoors and his devotion to his family and most importantly to his daughter, Stella Conley Brown. Whether it was fishing, boating, or crabbing, he cherished every moment spent in nature, especially those shared with his Granddaddy and his daughter.
He leaves behind his loving parents, Michael and Karen Brown; his brother, Wesley Brown; his daughter, Stella Katherine; grandparents, Ken and Anita Thomas, and C. Douglas Brown Sr.; along with his uncles and aunts, Ken and Kelly Thomas, Doug and Debbie Brown, and Lee and Jan Mathers; and his godfather, Bill Fussell. Numerous cousins also survive him. Will was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Honorine Brown and Sandra Gorman; grandfather, Bobby Gorman; and godmother, Glenda Fussell.
Wilson Funeral Home, located at 214 Airport Rd, Panama City, FL 32405, is assisting the family during this time. A memorial service has been scheduled for Saturday, August 3rd, with visitation beginning at 2:00 pm. The family will also receive guests after the service which begins at 3:00 pm. Will's life and legacy will be remembered fondly by all who knew him, as a man who embraced life with vigor, kindness, joy and most of all love.
In lieu of flowers or donations, Will would want you to live a life of kindness, hug those you love and enjoy each day as if it were your last.
