WILLIAM EARL "BILL" STEPHENSON
William Earl "Bill" Stephenson, 73, of Panama City Beach, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2011. He was born June 3, 1938 in Bessemer, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his father, James Priestly Stephenson; mother, Vera Pitts Stephenson and brother, Donald Stephenson. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Pat Hodgens Stephenson; three daughters, Sharon Stephenson Pierce (Wesley), Angie Stephenson Pascual (John), Patti Stephenson Despard (Tim); two sisters, Eloise Stephenson Graham (Ben), Karen Stephenson Harrington (Gary); brother, Ronald Wayne Stephenson (Sherry); six grandchildren, Mike Butterfield, Jeremy Pascual, Nichole Pascual, Rachael Pascual, Joshua Despard, Suzanne Despard; and two great grandchildren, Tyler Butterfield and Sarah Butterfield. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scarlett Harrington officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 - 7 p.m. The family extends a special thanks to Dr. Daffin and Bay Medical Center SICU nurses and staff.
