William "Bill" Fletcher III, 90, of Panama City, FL peacefully was received by our Lord, Monday, October 19, 2026. He was a devoted son, brother, husband, Dad, grandpa, uncle, cousin, etc... He was diligently involved in church ministries! Bill was a longtime member of Palo Alto Church of Christ, where he served as an Elder and sang in the church choir. Retired as a Lt Col with Florida National Guards and US Army after 35 years of service in logistics. He did fashion retail even owning Egerton & Moore in St. Petersburg, Florida. He worked with Crown Auto Group dealership. He served people in the hearing aid sciences. He loved music! He is preceded in death by wife, Martha Jane Conner Fletcher, brother, Bobby R Allen, Mother, Minnie L Sayers Murray. Bill is survived by wife, Roberta "Bertie" Fletcher, daughter, Martha Elizabeth Fletcher Mills (Wayne), grandson, Ben L D Mills, sister, Dale Moniello, brother, Delbert Murray (Dianne) and many dear nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2026 at 2 p.m. in the Palo Alto Church of Christ. The family will receive friends at the church Sunday from 1:30-2 p.m. prior to the funeral. Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 2, 2026 at 3 p.m. Eastern in the Memorial Cemetery, Lake City, FL.
