WILLARD HENRY PRATT

If you are familiar with Atticus Finch of Maycomb or Andy Taylor of Mayberry, then you have a glimpse of our Willard, a WWII veteran, certified history teacher, ordained minister, social work administrator, Coast Guard Auxiliarist, animal lover and the best husband and father there ever was.
Willard Henry Pratt, MSSW, born December 3, 1927 in Miami, Florida. He was at his Lynn Haven home on July 13, 2010 when he went to be with Our Father in Heaven. He leaves his dear wife of 59 years, Coreta Anne Powell Pratt; his four children, Ellen Pratt (Dale) Stacy, of Lynn Haven, FL, Nina Pratt (Robert) Cline, of Tallahassee, FL, Delia Pratt (Wayne) Gibbs, of Louisville, KY, Charles Willard Henry (Natalie) Pratt, of Oshkosh, WI; grandchildren, Jessica Stacy (Jason) Pierce, Chelsea Cline (Van) Fox, Jesse Gibbs, Seth Gibbs, Rebecca Pratt, Daniel Pratt; great grandchildren, Mathew Walker, Aubree Pierce, Sebastian I. Fox; sisters, Lavinia "Polly" Billick, Leola (Dale) Stansel, Ruth (Jim) Henshall and many dear friends and family.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at Lynn Haven Baptist Church, Lynn Haven, FL on Sunday, July 18 at 2:30 p.m. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until service time.
In lieu of flowers, consider joining Willard's participation in support of the University of Florida's College of Medicine. Burial will be scheduled for a date in 2012 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Panama City, Florida.
