Obituary

Wandall Pitts Lewis, 89, of Panama City, FL passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2020. She was born on August 16, 1930 in Panama City, FL. She attended Panama Grammar School and Bay High. She held many jobs early in life, later working for 39 years with Florida Asphalt and Paving. She later volunteered and substituted for her daughter in an elementary school library.
Wandall was a faithful member of First Baptist Church and the LLC Sunday school class.
She was preceded in death by her parents William (Tobe) and Bessie Youngblood Pitts, and her brother, Duell Otway Pitts.
She is survived by one daughter, Robin Maulden (Harrell); two grandchildren, Grant Maulden, Andrea Maulden; two great grandsons, Greyson Maulden, Gavin Maulden; one sister and best friend, Myrtice Hutchison; three nephews, Duell Pitts, Jr (Darlene), Jack (Jace) Booker (Angela), Jamie Pitts (Kelle) and many other family members. Also special extended family Doshia Smiley.
Wandall treasured reading, especially the morning paper, loved traveling and always spending time with her grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 2 p.m. in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens with Rev. Clyde Ellison officiating.
Honorary pallbearers are Jackie Sullivan, Frank Sullivan, Alice Robinson, Jim Moody, Tom Vickers, and Jimmy Peters.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Covenant Hospice or the Children's Advocacy Center in memory of Wandall Lewis.
