WALTER BUFORD WEST
Walter Buford West, 78, of Panama City, Fl., died Thursday, June 26, 2008. He was born April 4, 1930 in Birmingham, AL to B.G. & Velma West. He was a retired motel manager. He served in the Air National Guard during the Korean War. He was a member of Heritage Bible Church. He is survived by his wife, Diana Jean Harrell West; sister-in-law, Caila Harrell Kemper and husband, Charles; brother-in-law, William B. Harrell and wife, Gloria. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Henry Hazard officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-3 p.m. Sunday prior to the service. Graveside services will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the Elmwood Cemetery, Birmingham, AL.
