WALTER J. WAAGE
Walter J. Waage, 89, of Lynn Haven, died Sunday, October 05, 2008 at Clifford Chester Sims State Veterans' Home, having lived in Lynn Haven for 14 years after retiring to Florida with his wife Jane. He was born March 10, 1919 in Brooklyn, NY. He was a retired machinist. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Waage. He is survived by a daughter, Renee A. Younger and husband, Charles of Lynn Haven, and a granddaughter, Amanda Marie Younger of Brooklyn, NY. Nieces are Helen Howell and husband Wayne of Branchville, N.J. Pat Predmore and Husband Bill of Clearwater, FL, Goddaughter Heather Lachenauer and great-niece Christina Gardner both of Branchville, N.J. He was also loved by his extended family and will be missed by Charles & May Jones and children of Portland, TN. and good devoted friends Audur & Chuck Churukian and Joe Carvelle. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.
