Walter Lee Mills, aged 92, passed away peacefully on February 15th at Community Rehabilitation.   He was born October 19th, 1932, in Ashland, VA, to Walter Lee Mills and Alma May Lamb.  Walter served 23 years in the United States Air Force, retiring in 1974 at the rank of SMSGT.  Walter was a resident of Panama City for 54 years and is survived by his wife Velma Mills and children Rhonda Taylor and Mike & (Sharron) Mills.  Walter was known as a great patriot, father and friend to many, and enjoyed all of his five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 11am in the First United Methodist Church.
