Walter Buck George, 98, of Panama City passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023.  He was born October 14, 1924 in Holmes County, Florida.  He served in the United States Army Air Corp during World War II.  He was a self employed Certified Public Accountant.  He was preceded in death by his parents Cecil & Annie Lou George; wife, Grace Lavina George; daughter, Pamela George Parmer; seven brothers and two sisters.  He is survived by two children, Traci Waldo (Jamie), Ron George (Connie); three grandchildren, Brandi Walters (James), Julie George, Dara George; four great grandchildren, Taylor Layne Walters, Trinity Lei Walters, Alice Isabelle Lyon, Natalia Marta Grace Jones and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 12 noon in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12 noon prior to the service.  Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens.  Those desiring may make memorial donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in memory of Buck George.  The family would like to thank the staff of Clifford Chester Sims State Veterans Home and especially the Delta Blue Wing for their excellent care of "Daddy Buck".
