WALTER HERMAN CURRIE JR.
Walter Herman Currie Jr., 88, of Panama City, passed away March 13, 2011 in a local hospital. He was born February 14, 1923 in Warrenville, South Carolina. He was a member of the Men's Bowling Association, Acme Lodge #222 and the Shriners Road Runners. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Sara Currie. He is survived by his two daughters, Donna Currie and Debbie Carter; five grandchildren, Lynn Webb and husband Fred, Kim Mercer, Scott Hardee, Brent Carter and wife Brandy, Jamie Carter and wife Brittany; two great granddaughters, Sarah Carter and Katie Carter; special friend and companion, Betty Kuykendall; and his great friend, Jack Depue. A private family service will be held at a later date.
