WALLACE B. FLEMING

Mr. Wallace B. Fleming, age 90, of Douglasville, GA, formerly of Panama City, died Monday, October 20, 2008.
Mr. Fleming was a member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church. He was previously a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Panama City, where he was a Deacon Emeritus, served as an active deacon for 50 years, and was the Sunday School Director for 34 years. He was Chairman of the Board of the Baptist Center. He was retired owner of Fleming Construction Co., was a WWII Army Veteran, and a member of the Kiwanis Club. He is survived by his wife, wife, Roma Sloan Fleming, son, Nelson Fleming of Douglasville, two brothers, Joe Fleming of Panama City, Dr. Jerry Fleming of Chicago, IL and numerous nieces & nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 4:00 PM at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at Immanuel Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, 216 College Ave., Panama City, FL 32401.
