WALDO WILLIAM WALLACE, JR.

Waldo William Wallace, Jr. 93, met his Lord at his home on August 17, 2010. He was born in Andalusia, Alabama, on January 25, 1917 and moved to Panama City that same year. He was the son of Waldo William Wallace and Florida Street Wallace. He graduated from University of Florida in 1939 and married Louisa Brewer, and they had four children Waldo William (Bill) Wallace III (deceased), Henry, Jean, and Edward (deceased). He served briefly in the US Navy during WWII, and afterward built Panama Title Corporation. Waldo was a past president of the Florida Land Title association and was active in the Panama City Rotary Club. He was honored to become a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International. He was active in the Florida Presbytery and was a member of the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church.
After Louisa's death Waldo married Dorothy Watts Wallace in 1985. He is survived by his wife Dot, son Henry, daughter Jean, grandsons Steve Wallace, Michael Griffin, Troy Wallace, Mark Wallace and granddaughter Wendi Nica. He was blessed with two great grandchildren Caleb and Mady.
A one hour visitation will begin at 2 PM Saturday at the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, followed by the funeral service at 3 PM. Gifts to the church will be appreciated.
