VIRGINIA NYE SCARPINE
Virginia Nye Scarpine, 90, of Panama City, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012. She was born May 26, 1922 in Buffalo, New York. Mrs. Scarpine was a member of Holy Nativity Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Scarpine and great granddaughter, Amber Padilla. She is survived by her three daughters, Susan Waggener, Nancy Harris, Jacklyn Scarpine; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Holy Nativity Episcopal Church, 222 North Bonita Avenue, Panama City, FL 32401. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bay County Humane Society, the Panama City Women's Shelter, Holy Nativity Episcopal Church or to a charity of your choice.
