VIOLET GLADYS SMITH CORNWELL
Violet Gladys Smith Cornwell, 85, of Lynn Haven, died Monday, August 21, 2006 at a local hospital. She was born on December 24, 1920 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was a very loving wife and mother. She attended Northside Baptist Church. Mrs. Cornwell was preceded in death by her son, Fred J. Smith and 2 brothers, Arnt Aronson and Fred Aronson. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, David Cornwell of Lynn Haven, 2 daughters, Frances Perkins and her husband Hardy Lee, of Bayou George; Tammy Bettina Cornwell-Arquitt and her husband Steve, of Australia, 3 grandchildren, David Cornwell-Arquitt, Robert Cornwell-Arquitt and Luke Cornwell-Arquitt and special friends, Hazel & Jim Clark, George & Thelma McAdams, Carl & Norma McMurry, Floyd & Teresa Sowell and Alice Crawford Robinson. Memorial services will be held on Friday at 4 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerome Barnes officiating. The family will receive friends at their home in Lynn Haven on Thursday from 6 – 8 p.m. Those desiring may make memorial donations to Northside Baptist Church Building Fund in memory of Mrs. Cornwell.
