VIDA RUTH BROCK
Vida Ruth Brock, 88, of Panama City, went to be with the Lord, peacefully on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at Glenn Cove Nursing Pavilion. She was born March 19, 1920 in Bonifay, Florida to the late Jim and Emma Strickland. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Claudie, Porter, and Loyce; six sisters, Omie, Leana, Bertie, Mennie, Margaret and Virginia. She is survived by son, Mitchell Brock and wife Darlene, granddaughter, Ashlea Brock, sister, Ulene Collins of Vernon. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend John Broome and Reverend Eddie Pitts officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.
