Victoria Fernandez, 87, of Panama City Beach, passed away March 29, 2017.  She was born on April 23, 1929 in Cuba to Elias and Emilia Vitar.  She had been a resident of Panama City Beach since 1985, moving here from Los Angeles, California.  She was a member of the St. Bernadette Catholic Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Carlos Fernandez Sr.  She is survived by a son, Carlos Fernandez Jr.; daughter, Alina Fernandez; and a brother, Pablo Vitar.  Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at the St. Bernadette Catholic Church with Father Ted Sosnowski officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. Interment will follow in the Catholic Cemetery.
