Obituary

Vernon "Vern" Ray Cooper, 85, of Youngstown, FL passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016. He was born October 2, 1930 to Thomas and Lois Teague Cooper Sr. He served in the United States Air Force for over 22 years, retiring in 1974 at the rank of Major. He was a member of the Harry Jackson Masonic Lodge #314 and the Panama City Shrine Club. He is survived by his wife Mary Louise "Lou" Cooper; daughter, Billie Grant (Frank); two grandchildren, Lisa King (Calvin), Randall Blackerby; two great- grandchildren, Callee King and Ashlyn King. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday April 19 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-3 p.m. on Monday April 18.
