VERNA LUCILLE HELMS
Verna Lucille Helms, 92, of Panama City, died November 2, 2006 in a local nursing home. She was a homemaker and was a member of Northside Baptist Church. She had been a resident of Panama City since 1963, moving here from Geneva, Alabama. She is survived by a daughter, Willa Dean Hall and husband Bill of Panama City, son, Robert Steve Helms of Escondido, California, 2 granddaughters, Vicki Rosamond, Melody Larson, 3 grandsons, Travis Helms, Christopher Helms, Larry Rosamond, 5 great grandchildren, Jeremy, Michael and Rebecca Rosamond, Kayley and Tyler Larson, all of Lynn Haven, 2 sisters, Louise Watford of Dothan, Alabama, Martha Cotton and husband Loyd of Black, Alabama, sister-in-law, Audrey Mosley of Geneva, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband Tolbert Helms, her parents, Ed and Lena Mosley, 2 brothers, Herman and Raymond Mosley, sister, Clara Farmer. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2006 at Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva with visitation one hour prior to the service at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Home Baptist Church Cemetery in Geneva. Active pallbearers will be her nephews. Those desiring to may make a donation to Covenant Hospice, 107 West 19th Street, Panama City, Florida 32405 in memory of Verna Lucille Helms.
