VERA THURMAN LOE
Vera Thurman Loe, 86, of Panama City Beach, Florida passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2011. She was born February 26, 1925 in Springhill, Louisiana. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Arcadia, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kavat A. Loe. She is survived by her two daughters, Janet Bailey, Barbara Graham; five grandchildren, Julian Graham, III, Sarah DesRoches, Wesley Martin, Susannah Bardo, Sarah Patterson; numerous great grandchildren; brother, Harold Dean and sister, Linda Weaver. The family will receive friends at Wilson Funeral Home on Thursday from 5 – 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 7 at 1 p.m. in the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel, Arcadia, Louisiana with the family receiving friends from noon until service time. Interment will follow in Arcadia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Arcadia, P.O. Box 360, Arcadia, LA 71001 in memory of Vera Loe.
