Vera Elizabeth Sanders, 91, of Panama City, Florida, passed away Friday, December 2, 2016.  She was born January 26, 1925, in Brantley, Alabama to Bibb Gardner Morgan and Vera Wright Morgan. Vera moved from Brantley to Panama City in 1943. She was Baptist by faith. Vera was preceded in death by husband, M.A. Sanders, son, M.A. Sanders, Jr. and a daughter, Patricia E. Braswell-Melton, her parents, and five brothers; Judge Wright Morgan, Bibb Gardner Morgan, Jr., John Quitman Morgan, Mark Morgan, and Matthew Morgan. She is survived by three children; Sandra Jean Outlaw (Bobby), Brenda Joyce Joins (Richard), and David M. Sanders, nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, several nieces and nephews, and her only remaining special loving sister, Laura Jean Johnson. A memorial service will be held at 12 pm on Saturday, January 7 in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Vera's nephew, Minister Keith Morgan will be officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. prior to the service.
