VALORIE DAVIS TATE

Valorie Davis Tate, 86, of Panama City, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2009. She was born July 4, 1922 in Holmes County, Florida. She was a member of St. Andrew Baptist Church. She was an avid Braves fan and loved the outdoors and traveling. She was a retired administrative assistant from Eli Witt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Tate. She is survived by her daughter, Dianne Dubke and husband Ron, of Panama City; son, Jerry Tate and wife Sylvia, of Snellville, GA; six grandchildren, Michael Tate, Angela Donahoo, Daphne Gonzalez, Shay Tate, Selena McCallister, Michelle Raymes; thirteen great grandchildren; one great great grandson; three sisters, Betty Lage, Joann Rhodes and Eloise Winslett. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 – 8 p.m. Those desiring may make memorial donations to St. Andrew Baptist Church Building Fund or to the Forest Park United Methodist Church Building Fund.
