Valerie Annette De Bar ne Page, passed away on December 10, 2019. Valerie was borne October 19, 1942, the first child of Albert & Grace Page. She didn't meet her father until she was 3 years old as he was servicing in World War II. She grew up in Brandon, Manitoba and enjoyed a happy childhood. She graduated high school and took a year of teacher training. She taught one year in a small northern community. She got married and moved to Manitoba. Her only child Brian was borne December 8, 1964. She moved to Michigan, Where she lived in several towns. On September 9, 1984, Brian died in a motor vehicle accident. After this her marriage ended and she went back to college to get her CPA where she worked in this field for many years. Valerie met Rex De Bar and they were married on June 29, 1996. Together they moved to Florida where they spent many happy years together. She is survived by her husband, Rex and his children, her brother, Raymond Page and his son, Sean; her sister, Maureen Thompson (Donald) and her children, Troy Thompson (Candice), Tiffany Westdal (Chris) and Madison, Abigail and Carter Westdal. There will be no services held at this time.
