Tricia Gail Barfield Cecil, treasured wife, mother, daughter and sister, passed away peacefully at Covenant Hospice at Bay Medical Center on November 16, 2014 after a courageous 2 year battle with cancer. Tricia was born in Panama City, Florida to Carol Barfield and the late Jimmy Barfield. She was a Rutherford High School class of 1993 graduate and Haney Technical Center class of 1994 medical assistant graduate. Tricia was employed by Dr. Stephen Miller and Dr. Masood Ahmad. She loved her work and the patients she assisted.
Tricia is survived by her husband Christopher Cecil, daughters Sarah, a senior at Rutherford High School and Grace, a 2nd grader at Callaway Elementary School; her mother, Carol Barfield, sisters Lisa Barfield (Michael Houston), and Pamela Dillard (Nicholus), Grandmother, Marie Smith, mother-in-law, Peggy Strickland (Kenneth), brother-in-law, Jamie Cecil (Jennifer), niece, Bethany Dillard, nephews, David Barfield, Eric Dillard, Trey Dillard, Joshua Wilson, Justin Wilson and Jeffery Cecil. Aunts, Linda Duke, Barbara Earle, Kathleen Roush and uncles, Rob and Jerry Smith, Sid Barfield; and very special friend Carrie Raffield.
