Travis S. Crowder, 40, of Panama City, FL, passed away on December 28, 2019, in the hospital surrounded by family. He was born April 28, 1979, I Beckley, West Virginia, the son of Nancy Benton and the late Larry Sweeney. He was the oldest of two siblings. Travis' has many achievements here are a couple of them : He graduated high school in 1996. He became a very proud father of his son in November 1996. He was employed by Life Management Center as a CSU Mental Health Tech known as "Tazz." He loved writing and singing songs as he performed as a guitarist at the local clubs in Panama City Florida area, he was known as "Trevor". He would help anyone that needed it because he had a loving, caring heart, ; thus, he was as a fun guy to be around. Travis was young when he passed , we will remember him as a beautiful man with an old man soul. We will all miss him dearly, he will always be in our daily surroundings; thus embracing us with his love that is forever in our hearts and memories, may we always remember him this way.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, David and Claudia Crowder of Hueytown, AL; mother, Nancy Benton of Panama City FL; Stepfather, Ronnie D. Benton of South Carolina; grandchildren, Lumen and Danny of AL.; sister, Amanda (AJ) Crowder of Panama City FL; grandmother and aunt, Wattie and Rebecca Crowder; uncle, aunt, and cousin Charles, Karen and Keegan Crowder of Swainsboro, GA: half-sisters from the Sweeney family and many cousins from both families. Travis Crowder was preceded in death by his father Larry Sweeney; grandfather Charles Crowder.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity in memory of Travis Crowder.
