Tony Martin Land, 87, of Panama City, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 in his home. He was a native and lifelong resident of Bay County. He graduated from Bay High School in 1957. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1957 and again in 1963 and retired as a Senior Chief Petty Officer in May, 1983. He also worked for General Instrument Corp, Long Island, N.Y. and Litton Corp., San Jose, CA. before retiring back to Panama City in 1997. He was a member of Hiland Park Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Harris Stephen Land, mother, Lucille Pererson Land; sisters, Carolyn Eddins (Charles); Francis Aldea (Robert), Patricia Ann Everett, and a brother, Alfred Land (Doris). He is survived by a sister, Nancy Clark (Jerry), special friend, Marci Showalter and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Monday, August 24, 2026 at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service. Tony requests no flowers, but if you would like, make a contribution to Hiland Park Baptist Church or to the Panama City Rescue Mission.
