Timothy Earl Kolmetz, 56, of Callaway, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017.  He was born January 10, 1961 in Pensacola, Florida.  He served for over 20 years in the Merchant Marines with the Edison Chouest Offshore Company.  He was a self-employed machinist and fabricator.  He was preceded in death by his father, Bert Benjamin Kolmetz Sr. and his mother, Mary Lois Jordan Kolmetz.  He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Linda Swanner Kolmetz; son, Trey Kolmetz (Jennifer); 3 brothers, Joey Kolmetz (Deanna); John Kolmetz, Bert Kolmetz (Sharon) and numerous nieces and nephews.  Graveside services will be held on Saturday at 10am in the Live Oak Cemetery, New Hope Florida with Pastor Danny Davis officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6-8 p.m.
