Thomas B. Grimm, 69, of Panama City, FL passed away on Friday March 3, 2017 at his home. He was born on July 19, 1947 in Lawton, MI to Basil and Frances Grimm. He worked for the Bay County Sheriff's Department for 30 years where he was a part of the SWAT Team Unit. After retiring from the Sheriff's Department in 2003 he then went to work as a Court Security Officer at the Federal Court House. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Panama City where he attended Robert Denmark's Sunday school class. He was preceded in death by six sisters; granddaughter, Miranda Clavijo; and step son-in-law, Mark Clavijo. He is survived by his wife, Martha "Marty" Grimm; daughter, Erica Tirado (Eric); two step- daughters, Christina Clavijo, Donita Keller (Dan); eight grandchildren, Blake Bryant, McKenna Tirado, Isabella Tirado, Reya Tirado, Jacob Forcha, Alexa Keller, Coleton Clavijo; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday at 6 pm at the First Baptist Church of Panama City with Rev. Clyde Ellison, Rev. Robert Denmark, and Rev. Don Hodges officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 5-6 pm prior to the service. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Warrior Beach Retreat P.O.
