THOMAS LEROY FRANCIS

Thomas Leroy Francis, age 68, went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 21, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, J. Harley & Beatrice Francis and a sister, Virginia Francis. He is survived by his wife, Beth; children, Becky, Ben, Lee, Rachel; sister, Elaine Stephens; brother, Jim Francis (Rebecca); father & mother-in-law, Earl & Libba Brookins; brothers & sisters-in-law, Jody & Pat Brookins, Steve & Phyllis Brookins, Jess & Carla Brookins; nieces & nephews, Elizabeth Moss (Bill), William F. Stephens, Chris Stephens (Deborah), Anita Darby (Jim), Jim Harley Francis (Heather), Cory, Justin, Nelson, Jessica Brookins, grandnieces, Beatrice & Cora Moss, Anna & Allie Darby, Katelyn Francis; special friend, Nancy Francis; extended family, Randy & Andy Bevis and their children, whom T.L. enjoyed so much, Cynda, Hunter, Jordan, Justin, Stephen, and Ceanna. T.L. was a retired biologist for the State of Florida. He loved nature and he loved to share it with everyone he met. It was his way of sharing God's creation and his love for each of us. Today he is enjoying something far more beautiful than any of us could imagine. A memorial service will be held in honor of T.L., Sunday, March 25, 2007 at 4 p.m. at the Amphitheatre at St. Andrew State Park ( next to the Turpentine steel) Burial will be held in Waynesville, North Carolina at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Covenant Hospice or the Panama City Rescue Mission
