Obituary

Thomas Edward "Ed" Warnick Sr., 73, of Panama City, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021.  He was born June 3, 1947 in Birmingham, Alabama.  He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War where he received the Purple Heart Medal. He was a retired steel salesman.  Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Gayle Warnick, his parents, William Reed & Anne Ruth Warnick, a sister, Carolyn Carpenter and a brother, William Reed Warnick Jr.  He is survived by two sons, Eddie Warnick (Jeannie), Brian Warnick (Tomi); four grandchildren, Zach Warnick (Megan), Cody Warnick, Taylor Warnick, Thomas Evans (Catlin), great granddaughter, Hollie Evans, two sisters, Kathy Harmon (Rick) and Margaret Armstrong (Calvin).  Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 12 noon in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Virgil Tillman officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 11 a.m.-12 noon prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the American Cancer Society in memory of Ed Warnick.
