Thomas Langley Davis, 84, of Panama City, FL passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017 with his wife and son by his side. He was born on September 18, 1932 in Fort Worth, Texas to Thomas and Elsie Davis. He was a lifelong resident of Panama City, growing up in the Cove and enjoyed fishing, oystering, and anything on the water from St Andrews Bay, to Wewa, to Lake Wimico. He had coffee at 6AM every day with friends.
He was one of the original members of the Panama City Dive Club, diving on the old Tarpon wreck. He was a member of the Parker Masonic Lodge. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired as a cable splicer for BellSouth Telephone Company after 37 years of service. He always took time to teach his son sports, fishing, and the importance of being the best you can be as it was very important to him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Buddy Davis. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Harmon Davis; one son, Thomas L. Davis Jr; two granddaughters, MacKenzie Clark, Madison Davis; one great grandson, Landon Clark. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank Dr. Lu, Dr. Baker and Covenant Hospice for their excellent care.
