THELMA K. OPLINGER

Thelma K. Oplinger, 93, passed away on June 17, 2007 at a local nursing home. She had been a resident here for three years, coming from Ft. Myers, FL, where she lived for nearly 30 years following her retirement from the Pennsylvania Railroad. Miss Oplinger loved traveling, reading, golf and gardening. She was a loving daughter, sister and aunt, helping all those who were in need. She was predeceased by her parents and three siblings. Survivors include her sister, June Wandrus, of Elm Grove, Wisconsin, her niece, Judith Purvis, of Lynn Haven, FL, and five grandnieces and nephews and their families. She also leaves behind her special friend, Vivian Decker. Memorialization will be by cremation with a mass for her to be said at a later date at St. Dominic Catholic Church. The family would like to send a special Thank You to Covenant Hospice for their excellent care.
