Thelma Mayo Lynch, 85, of Wewahitchka, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 in her home. She was born on April 19, 1940 in Marianna, Florida.  She was a retired secretary for over 30 years at Millville Elementary School. She was preceded in death by parents JP and Nell Mayo, sister Jewell Humphries, and son, Tony Lynch.

She is survived by her husband, George Lynch; son, Ricky (Lisa) Lynch; Kathy Lynch; grandchildren, Sommer (Tim) Ellis, Dustin Lynch, Jesilee (Joshua) Shinsky, Gavin Lynch, Emily (Stephen) Ray; 9 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Thelma was a faithful Christian her entire life and instilled in her family to love Jesus. Thelma was a joyous ray of light in our lives that will never be extinguished.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2025 in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 – 2 p.m. prior the service.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Lynch, Gavin Lynch, Taylor Dunn, Joshua Shinsky, Stephen Ray and Russell Willis.

Following the service the family will be gathering at Rick's home, 1803 New Hampshire Avenue, Lynn Haven, FL 32444.
