Tami Dean Matthews, 54, of Panama City, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2014. She was born on June 12, 1960 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mac and Wanda McCreary. She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Matthews; three children, Lenneth Matthews, Melody Matthews, Billy Mac Matthews; one sister, Vicki Ahearn; brother-in-law, Pat Ahearn; brother-in-law, Ronald Matthews; sister-in-law, Marlena Matthews; and nieces and nephews, Christopher Edenfield, Joshua Edenfield, Brianna Ahearn, Walter Matthews, Grace Canti and Kacy Tucker. A celebration of her life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 18 in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6 – 8 p.m. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend who will be deeply missed.
