Obituary

T J Hagans, 75, of Youngstown, died Friday, January 18, 2008 in a local hospital. He was born, Sept 28, 1932 in Geneva, Alabama and had been a resident of the area for 72 years. He was a pipe fitter and plumber for Arizona Chemical retiring in 1994. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard for 9 years. He was a member of the St. Andrew Baptist Church of Panama City and the Plumber-Pipefitter Union #366. He was a former member of the Parker Masonic Lodge #142. He was preceded in death by a son, Lonnie Ray Hagans, grandson, Jerry Lee Hagans Jr., 2 brothers, Edward Hagans and Elton "Dick" Hagans. He is survived by his wife, Ela Ann Hagans, 3 sons, David Hagans and wife, Jessica; Mitch Hagans and wife, Pam; Jerry Hagans; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Michael Claunch, Rev. Virgil Tillman, and Rev. Donnie Jackson officiating. Interment will be in the Lynn Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Monday. Those desiring may make a contribution to St. Andrew Baptist Church, 3010 W. 15th St., Panama City, FL 32401 in memory of TJ Hagans.
