SYBIL DAVIS POTTS
Sybil Davis Potts, 90, of Panama City, passed away Monday, November 28, 2011. She was a native of Panama City and was a member of the Forest Park United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Woman's Club of Panama City, Panama City Garden Club, Order of the Eastern Star – Chapter 262 and the NARFE.
She is survived by her two sons, Larry R. Cosson and wife Janine, Shelley "Butch" Cosson and wife Rita; step son, Dr. Larry Potts and wife Regina; sister, Betty Russell and husband Jack; three grandchildren, Gil Cosson, Craig Cosson, Aspen Cosson; three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William & Alice Davis; husband, Durward Potts; step daughter, Vickie Varga; and two sisters, Jean Galloway and Alice Helton.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday in Evergreen Memorial Gardens with Dr. John Friedman officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Forest Park United Methodist Church, 1401 W 23rd Street, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Sybil Potts.
The family wishes to thank the staff and nursing staffs of the Glencove Nursing Pavilion and Covenant Hospice for the loving care given to Mrs. Potts during her residence.
