Obituary

Sybil Kilpatrick Cooper, 90, of Panama City, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020.  She was born March 18, 1930 in Andalusia, Alabama.  She was a retired secretary for the Bay County School System.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter & Bobbie Lee Kilpatrick; her husband, Alonzo Thomas Cooper; three brothers, Aubrey Kilpatrick, Denzel Kilpatrick, Denmark Kilpatrick and a sister, Beth Norris.  She is survived by a son, Claude Cooper (Jan); daughter, Karen De Gracia (Carlos); three grandchildren, Natasha Spain (Chris), Amanda Barajas (Ampelio), Carlos A. De Gracia; great granddaughter, Mia Alessandra Barajas and a sister, Sara Norris.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 12, 2020 at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service.  Graveside services will be held on Monday at 3 p.m. in the Carolina Baptist Church Cemetery, Andalusia, AL.  Those desiring may make memorial donations to the Building Fund at First Baptist Church of Panama City, P.O. Box 1200, Panama City, FL 32402 in memory of Sybil Cooper.
