SUZETTE COLLINS KEEL
Suzette Collins Keel, 60, of Panama City, died Saturday, September 27, 2008 in her home. She was born September 14, 1948 in Panama City, had been a lifelong resident of the area, and was a 1966 graduate of Bay High School. She was a great lover of nature and the waters of St. Andrew Bay. She touched the lives of so many with her kindness and generosity. Suzette was preceded in death by her parents, Bryon Burns & Bonnie Albritton Collins Sr. and a brother, Burns Collins Jr. She is survived by her husband, Jack Keel; a son, D.J. Thomas; a granddaughter, Kirra Chanelle Thomas, stepson, Jim F. Thomas, Jr., stepdaughter, Teresa Thomas Drake, 3 step-granddaughters, Megan Thomas, Kayleigh Drake, Carrie Ann Drake; 2 sisters, Dolores C. McNeal; Kathleen C. Middlebrooks and husband, Larry E. Murphy; 5 nieces, Christy Smith, Karen Silvey, Kim Haynes, Kelly Lee, Karla Collins; 2 nephews, Joey Middlebrooks, Bryon McNeal, and Linda Kitchen, her dear friend who was by her side daily caring for her. A private family celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make a contribution to Covenant Hospice, 107 W. 19th St., Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Suzette Keel.
