A beautiful bright soul has entered heaven.  Susan Louise Slonina, 57, of Southport, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022.  She was born September 15, 1964 in Bangor, Maine.   She was a 1982 graduate of Mosley High School, a local real estate broker and was the owner of Florida's Best Real Estate Company.  She was a dog lover, and many benefited from her loving heart over the years.  She will be greatly missed by family and friends who knew and loved her.  She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Alfred Slonina; niece, Ashley Elizabeth Slonina, and nephew, Christopher David Sturgill.  She is survived by her mother, Marjorie Anne Slonina; and siblings James Slonina and wife, Rosemary, Janice Slonina, and Stephen Slonina; nephew, Jonathan Sturgill, and her partner, Richard Harper.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 10 a.m. in St. Dominic Catholic Church with Father Anthony Nguyen officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30-10 a.m. prior to the service.  Interment will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Lynn Haven.  Susan was such a giving person so in lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Panama City Rescue Mission in memory of Susan Slonina.
