Steven "Steve" Allen Evans, 63, of Panama City, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021. He was born May 25, 1958, in Panama City, FL. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Panama City, where he sang in the choir. He was a retired mill worker and boat captain. Steve loved spending time with his family, most especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed being outdoors. Fishing and hunting with family and friends were among his favorite pastimes. Steve was kind-hearted and loved by all who knew him. He is survived by three sons, Steven Troy Evans (Carolin), Jeremy Nathaniel Evans (Alison), Kyle Allen Evans (Holly); parents, Alton & Ima Evans; three sisters, Pamela Jones (Steve), Cindy Bailey (Ray), Kim Evans; beloved grandchildren, Justin Allen Evans, Ivy Jane Evans, Kinslea Rose Evans, Lawson Allen Evans, and Nate Bradwell. He is also survived by Selena Evans, the mother of his children. His family includes niece Kayla Gibbens (Richard), and nephews Wesley Jones (Crystal) and Evan Jones, and numerous cousins. Memorial services will be held on Monday, December 6, 2021, at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Private family interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.
