Steve Gordon Sovereign, age 61, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Sovereign; his mother, Marie Sovereign; his loving wife, Julie Sovereign; and his grandson, Steve Martin Crane. He is survived by his children, Mason Sovereign, Saoirse Aimhirghin, Ethan (Heather) Register, Allyson Riley, and Morgan (Angel) Negron. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Kenneth Crane, Dave Crane, Addilyn Register, Blakely Register and Blaine Negron.
Steve was born in San Diego, California. After high school Steve served in the Navy. Steve resided in Lawrenceville, Georgia prior to relocating to Panama City, Florida. Steve has been a valued member of the Bay County community for over a decade. Steve served as Bay County High School President of the Quarterback club for several years. Steve was employed with Hewlett-Packard for over 20 years and was a valued coworker and friend to his colleagues there. Steve enjoyed spending time with his family and friends both near and afar, fishing, all things computer and computer gaming, and spending time with his fiancé Shirley.
A celebration of Steve's life will be held on Thursday, October 17th, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tom officiating.
